Looking to book an event but unsure what your experience level is?
We’ve outlined them below! ⬇️

We classify beginners as those who haven’t shot before, or who have shot only a few times.

We classify intermediate level shooters as those who have got basic gun handling skills and safety knowledge but maybe aren’t regular shooters.

We classify experienced shooters as those who shoot regularly and perhaps have their own gun and licence. It’s totally fine if you don’t and normally use someone else’s!

Barbury Shooting School is one of the most scenic shooting grounds we have in the UK with the most attentive instructors, they always make us feel completely at home.

This Coaching Clinic is for everyone! It doesn’t matter who you are, your age or ability, we would love for you to come shooting with us! This Coaching Clinic is designed for those who are looking to take their first shots, through to those who are already ‘top shots’! Whether you want to get into skeet shooting, or just want to improve your technique on crossing targets, this is the day for you!
The National Clay Shooting Centre is a fantastic shooting ground and we love shooting there! This shooting ground held the Shooting events for 2002 Commonwealth Games, so it’s far to say it’s a decent place to shoot!

Absolutely nothing! Our events are designed with absolute novices in mind, so we provide everything you could possibly need!
If you have your own gun, cartridges and protective gear, you’re more than welcome to bring it with you.
Each event will specify who the event is designed for, so make sure you read the event details!

Yes! The whole idea beind The Women’s Shooting Network is that we connect like-minded women through the power of shooting!

No, the shooting grounds we use have got everything covered, so you don’t need a license!
There may be a couple of events that we do, such as game days, where you will need a shotgun certificate and your own gun, but this will be specified in the event details!

A Tuition Day is a day where we focus on learning how to shoot!
Our instructors and coaches will cater to our experience levels and abilities.
Total novices and beginners will have a complete introduction, from gun safety and gun handling skills, through to the basics of shooting technique!
For our intermediate and experienced shooters, our instructors and coaches will focus on creating a long-lasting technique and build confidence!

Coaching Clinics are days where we team up with the best coaches in the business to create opportunities for women in shooting!
Being coached by the UK’s leading coaches helps women to build life-long techniques, work on their mental game and gain a deeper understanding of that discipline!
